We are licensed (HAM) radio and non-licensed radio operators. In response to the Hunter-two fire on labor day of 2020, we formed a group of community-based radio operators. Because of the complete loss of all information during the fire, we are developing a radio network for the citizens of Blanchard and Spirit Valley for emergency radio communications.
As amateur radio enthusiasts, we promote amateur radio to the public. Anyone can join our group and a license is not required. We encourage our neighbors to buy radios and learn how to use them during local emergencies. We will assist individuals and groups with, proper use, training, and programming of their radios. We have radio check-in's "NET" every Sunday evening at 6 pm on FRS 3 / 462.6125
